Dec 2022: Wards Include Community Service in Christmas Activities

In December, several wards incorporated community service into their Christmas Activities. The Overland Park Ward collected approximately 200 non-perishable food items, which were donated to Jewish Family Services.

The Oak Park Ward collected gloves, scarves, hats, and gift cards for Sunflower House, a Children's Advocacy Center that provides child abuse intervention and prevention services.

The Cedar Creek Ward collected new and gently used K-8th grade books for Hands to Hearts KC, a local non-profit that provides food, clothing, and books to children in need.
